All I can say is....It's about time! This is a worthy endeavor that should have been done years ago. Well, it's finally happened. I realize there was (still are, I guess) a lot of people up-in-arms about this, but in the end, this will be a good thing. Just like certain bands who encourage the sharing of their music online to build their fan base, this book sharing is going to allow a world of people to experience books they otherwise may never have had the chance to see. As an author, wouldn't you want your published works to be read by more people? Isn't that the real reason you became an author?
Anyway, be sure to check out Google Book Search, and maybe you will rediscover an old classic.
