FOXNews.com - Rep. Kennedy: 'I Never Asked for Any Preferential Treatment' - Politics | Republican Party | Democratic Party | Political Spectrum

Once again a Kennedy is in the news, and it's not good press. 2:45am? Headed to a vote? Who is he kidding? Will anything happen to Patrick Kennedy because of this? We should all stand up and DEMAND something occur. A field sobriety test wasn't even given. And in case you forgot, this in the District which has arrested people for having one drink (Read this: Woman arrested in DC for one drink). Ironically enough, this story originally appeared in the Washington Post, but is no longer available on their website, even if you search for the original author (Bridgid Schulte), or the original title of the article (Single glass of wine immerses D.C. driver in legal battle.)

Would the same leniency been given had he actually hit the police cruiser, or god forbid actually hurt a pedestrian? This is outrageous, and we should not allow this type of preferential treatment to continue.

Just my two cents. Leave a comment and let me know what you think.
